This week we start the weekly Wednesday evening yoga class at Nyack Boot Camp in addition to Sunday morning. Schedule is here.
Sunday classes have been small but are developing an audience. This practice is designed to be slow for the methodical opening of joints and soft tissues. Techniques are also used so students can work to create a relationship with breath for more efficient breathing mechanics.
Ultimately, the goal is to take the more mindful movement practices out of the gym/studio and bring them into daily functional habits, creating new, healthier ways of moving in the world.
